My name is Dev Dasgupta and I am based in Bangalore, India.I come from a family, which has had deep interests in painting and photography. I have not been trained in photography, but I like to capture images on camera and write about them. Starting from using my father's German make cameras, to a DSLR of today, I have always enjoyed photographing people and the environment.
Today with mobile cameras being an easily available tool, I enjoy taking pictures using them. To me each picture has something to say, which I try to understand and express. This blog is also a collaborative effort with others, who are interested to take pictures, and write about them.
I also wish to include paintings, collected from private collections and painters.For me, paintings are the next best thing to photography.Each painter has a lot to say to the world, through their work.
